3. Press the menu key to enter the
communication page, choose the RS232/485.

Set the following RS232/RS485 settings:
Mode DISABLE/RS232/RS485
RS485 Address 0~128

2400/ 4800/ 9600/ 19200/ 38400/
Baud rate (bps)
57600/ 115200
Protocol SCPI

4. The Block of interface state will
display this icon when a remote
connection has been established.
5. Press “Meter” key, make sure the instrument is
ready for remote control.

RS232/485 Function Check

Functionality Invoke a terminal application such as Realterm.

To check the COM port No, see the Device
Manager in the PC. For Win11; Control panel 
System  Hardware tab.
Confirm the RS485/232 address value of the PHU
(the default is 8). Run this query command via the
terminal application after the instrument has been
configured for either RS232 or RS485 remote
control.
